CJC-1295 without DAC (also called Mod GRF 1-29) is a stabilized 29-amino-acid fragment of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). Unlike the DAC-modified version, it is not engineered to bind albumin, giving it a short half-life (roughly 30-60 minutes) and a pulsatile growth-hormone-release profile closer to the body's natural GHRH signaling.
Published human research on CJC-1295 has focused mainly on the long-acting, DAC-conjugated version, where a single injection produced dose-dependent increases in growth hormone and IGF-1 lasting multiple days. Because the no-DAC form clears rapidly, it is studied and dosed on a very different schedule, and the two forms are not interchangeable in research design or expected duration of effect.
