What's Printed on Every Vial, and Why

Strength, form and storage conditions: the information that matters once a vial leaves cold storage and lands on your bench.

Every vial we ship carries the same core set of information, printed directly on the label rather than left to a separate insert that can get misplaced: the product name, the strength (how much is in the vial, by weight), and the form it's supplied in. Nearly everything in the catalog ships as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, which is the standard form for shipping and storing peptides at room-stable conditions until they're reconstituted for use.

Below that is the storage condition — almost always 36–46 °F, ordinary refrigerator temperature — which applies to the vial before it's opened or reconstituted. A lot number and an expiration or retest date sit alongside it, so a specific vial can always be traced back to the batch it came from. That lot number also corresponds to a small scannable code printed on the label, which links to that lot's record on our site.

Finally, every label carries the "For Research Purposes Only" statement required for a product that is not for human or animal consumption. None of this is decorative — it's the minimum information a research setting needs to log a reagent correctly: what it is, how much, how it's stored, and which batch it came from.

This note summarizes published research and general handling practice — it is not medical advice, a dosing recommendation, or a claim about safety or effectiveness for human use. For Research Purposes Only, Not For Human Consumption.
